The founder of South African conglomerate Bidvest Group, Brian Joffe on Friday ended his relationship with the company he founded in 1988 after resigning as a non-executive director.
Last year he stepped down as chief executive – a position he held since 2004.
Joffe, however remains chairman of Bidcorp, which unbundled from Bidvest in May 2016. Recently Investec’s CEO Stephen Koseff joined him on the board as a non-executive director.
Joffe earlier this year listed a new JSE investment company called Long4Life, which is in the process of acquiring Holdsport.
