After days of international tension following xenophobic violence against Nigerians in South Africa, International Relations and Cooperation Minister Naledi Pandor confirmed that South Africa has closed its embassy in the West African country. Yet as diplomatic relations cool the government confirmed that Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will keep his promise of a visit to South Africa on October 3 made before the violence erupted.
