Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala named first female African of the Year honouree

The 2020 African of the Year Award recipient, and the third recipient of the Award –Ngozi Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Chairperson of GAVI – was announced on the first of December, in the first virtual version of the event. Previous winners were Rwandan President Paul Kagame and President of the African Development Bank Dr Akinwumi Adesina.
