Mauritius remains the wealthiest country in Africa. This is according to the latest AfrAsia Bank, Africa Wealth Report. Although private wealth levels fell 9 per cent as a result of Covid-19, private wealth held in Africa is expected to rise 30 per cent by 2030 – reaching $2.6 trillion.
