The Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, has brokered a Memorandum of Understanding that puts an end to a 17-year tax practice rift between members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Association of the National Accountants of Nigeria.
