As the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic continues to unfold, another generation of women will have to wait for gender equality. This is because the gender gap has grown by an additional 36 years. According to the latest World Economic Forum Gender Gap Report, South Africa fell 1 ranking, and is now 18th out of 156 economies.
