Nigeria MPC raises MPR by 50bps to 26.75%

Nigeria's Monetary Policy Committee has raised the benchmark lending rate by 50 basis points, bringing it to 26.75 per cent from 26.25 per cent in May. According to the CBN Governor, the move is aimed at addressing rising inflation.
