KAMPALA, July 8 (Reuters) – The Ugandan shilling weakened on Monday due to increased demand for dollars from commercial banks and merchandise importers, traders said.
At 0905 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,705/3,715 per dollar, compared with Friday’s closing rate of 3,693/3,703.
