KAMPALA, July 24 (Reuters) – The Ugandan shilling was weaker on Wednesday, hurt by a pick up in demand for dollars from the energy sector and other goods importers, traders said.

At 0803 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,705/3,715, compared with Tuesday’s closing rate of 3,690/3,700.
