KAMPALA, July 17 (Reuters) – The Ugandan shilling was weaker on Wednesday, undermined by an uptick in demand for dollars from merchandise importers, traders said.
At 1045 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,695/3,705, compared with Tuesday’s closing rate of 3,688/3,698 levels.
