NAIROBI, Feb 5 (Reuters) – Kenya’s central bank cut its benchmark lending rate by 50 basis points to 10.75% on Wednesday, its monetary policy committee said.

The decision was in line with the forecast of a Reuters poll of four economists.

The central bank also cut banks’ Cash Reserve Ratio by 100 basis points to 3.25% to support a lowering of lending rates, the committee said in a statement.
