Rwanda hosts Arsenal coaching football clinic

Rwanda Football Federation and the Ministry of Sports and Culture recently hosted a five-day coaching clinic led by two coaches from Arsenal Football Club. The clinic, which was attended by 50 coaches from across the country, is part of the ongoing Visit Rwanda Arsenal partnership. The initiative aims to establish a player and coach development pathway that will elevate the level of football in Rwanda. Hussein, one of the coaches from Arsenal, expressed his satisfaction with the progress made during the clinic, stating, 'Their attention to what we taught them this week was fantastic, way above what I was expecting. They now know the playing style we want to implement in Rwanda, and they're eager to pass that knowledge on to their players across the country.' This transfer of knowledge and methodology is seen as crucial in building a strong foundation for football development in Rwanda. The importance of starting from the grassroots level was emphasized during the clinic, with a focus on youth coaching.
