Ethiopia adds 1.7 million jobs in first-half of 2021

In February this year, Job Creation Commission said close to 1.7 million jobs were created in the six months prior in Ethiopia. Bernard Laurendeau, Senior Adviser to the Commissioner of the Ethiopian Jobs Creation Commission spoke with CNBC Africa on how they managed to pull it off at a time when the global economy was impacted by the pandemic.
