Fuel scarcity hits Nigeria, stokes price hike concerns

The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority says there’s no need to panic buy petrol as the NNPC and other marketers confirm available stock following scarcity of the product across major cities. Meanwhile, Nigeria says it has earmarked about $7 billion within the last seven years in its efforts to pull 100 million Nigerians out of poverty and the CBN governor says the eNaira, has recorded N8bn transactions in its one year of introduction.
