Business has reactivated 'Business Against Crime, South Africa' to drive initiatives in this space and has engaged with the national director of public prosecutions to provide expertise in forensic investigations related to state capture. Joint committees are being formed to facilitate dialogue and action in addressing crime and corruption, with a focus on supporting government initiatives to enhance security and combat corruption. In terms of financial contributions, Business Unity South Africa acknowledges that additional resources may be required to support the implementation of these plans. A 'Resource Mobilization Fund' has been established to raise funds for critical areas such as logistics, where expertise and financial support are essential.
