Kenya Airways on sustainable aviation through innovation & alternative fuels

Kenya Airways, one of Africa's leading airlines, is at the forefront of sustainable aviation efforts, aiming to combat climate change by reducing its environmental impact. Grace Vihenda, Head of Innovation and Sustainability at Kenya Airways, recently discussed the airline's commitment to sustainability in an interview with CNBC Africa. The aviation industry is responsible for approximately 2.5% of global carbon dioxide emissions, making it crucial for airlines to prioritize sustainable practices.
