Absa Group today reported a 10 per cent increase in its 2024 earnings, driven by a material second-half recovery and improved risk management, despite a 5 per cent rise in operating costs and a credit loss ratio still slightly above target.

Mpact reported a 3.6 per cent increase in group revenue in the year to December, boosted by higher sales volumes, mainly boosted by higher sales in its paper business.
