Sensodyne-maker Haleon to close UK manufacturing site, with over 400 jobs hit
April 30 (Reuters) – Consumer healthcare company Haleon is planning to shut down its UK manufacturing site in Berkshire, England, in the next two years, which will impact 435 jobs, a spokesperson told Reuters on Tuesday.
“Following a strategic review of our global manufacturing capabilities, we have determined that our Maidenhead site is no longer a viable option for the manufacture of our products,” the spokesperson said. (Reporting by Eva Mathews in Bengaluru; Editing by Savio D’Souza)
