South Africa’s Pepkor half-year earnings fall 3.1%
JOHANNESBURG, May 28 (Reuters) – South African discount retailer Pepkor Holdings reported on Tuesday a 3.1% fall in half-year earnings, while revenue grew 9.5%, benefiting from a bumper Easter trading period.
The owner of PEP and Ackermans clothing brands said headline earnings per share (HEPS) fell to 75 cents in the six months to March 31, down from 77.4 cents.
