WASHINGTON, Nov 13 (Reuters) – The IMF on Wednesday said it had reached a staff-level agreement with the Democratic Republic of Congo for a new three-year, $1.77 billion economic and financial program as well as a new three-year $1.1 billion climate-focused program.
The deal, which must be approved by IMF executives in a review tentatively scheduled for mid-January, also includes an extended credit facility as well as a resilience and sustainability facility, the International Monetary Fund said in a statement.
