Barrick Gold initiates arbitration over Mali operations dispute

Dec 18 (Reuters) – Canadian miner Barrick Gold said on Wednesday it had submitted a request for arbitration to the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) to address matters of disagreement with the Malian government regarding its Loulo-Gounkoto mine complex.
