Algeria issues tender to buy up to 240,000 T of corn, traders say

PARIS, Jan 6 (Reuters) – Algerian state agency ONAB has issued an international tender to purchase up to 240,000 metric tons of animal-feed corn from Argentina or Brazil, European traders said on Monday.

The corn is sought in six consignments of between 30,000 and 40,000 tons each for prompt shipment during Jan. 15-31, with the bidding deadline on Tuesday, the traders said. (Reporting by Gus Trompiz; Editing by Jan Harvey)
