Malawi president appoints Mwale as central bank governor

BLANTYRE, Malawi, Jan 6 (Reuters) – Malawi’s President Lazarus Chakwera has appointed MacDonald Mwale as the new central bank governor, replacing Wilson Banda, the secretary to the president said on Monday.
