Egypt’s M2 money supply up 29% year on year in November, central bank data shows
CAIRO, Jan 6 (Reuters) – Egypt’s M2 money supply grew by 29% year on year in November, central bank data showed on Monday.
Money supply stood at 11.34 trillion Egyptian pounds ($224.11 billion), up from 8.78 trillion pounds in the corresponding month last year. (Reporting by Jaidaa Taha and Menna Alaa; Editing by Chris Reese)
